Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) support MCI-1G/350-2T is designed with enhanced performance features and new power management technology such as Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE). iSCSI performance acceleration MCI-1G/350-2T is built on the IntelĀ® I350 controller and supports single root I/O virtualization (SR-IOV), iSCSI, and TCP segment offload (TSO). Its PCIe2.0 x4 host interface supports 5GT/s per lane and baseboard management controller (BMC) communication is supported on top of the Network Controller-Sideband Interface (NC-SI) via an OCP form factor. Flexible I/O virtualization By taking advantage of SR-IOV technology, MCI-1G/350-2T enables Flexible Port Partitioning (FPP), which an administrator can use to control the partitioning of the bandwidth across multiple virtual functions. This enables the assignment of up to eight Linux host processes or virtual machines per port for virtual functions.
